VOLUNTEER

Manna Resource Center's volunteers are part of our culture and community.

 

Some serve as Allies who walk alongside participants in our Manna Connect program, engaging in ongoing relationship through our Community Gatherings. Other volunteers are part of our therapeutic childcare program, providing a safe, enriching environment for the youngest of our clients to engage in social and emotional development. Other volunteers provide hospitality for our Community Gatherings and Parent Cafes, setting up our meal and preparing the leftovers for participants to take home. These three volunteer activities take place on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday nights of every month.

 

Using their professional skills, Manna Resource Center also has volunteers who assist with career development through 1:1 or group skill development that helps participants gain skills that equate to sustainable employment. The timing and frequency of these opportunities varies by role and need.
